Don’t just take their word for it – search out the company profile to check to see if there are any customer complaints against them. As for other certifications to look for, it depends on the type of contractor you want to hire and what industry they belong to. Yelp isn’t just for restaurant reviews and is a popular place for past customers to detail their experiences with service companies. Other websites to search are Angie’s List or the company’s Facebook page. If there are no on-line reviews to be found, this could mean that the company is new or that they’re not as professional as you would probably like.
